how to fix broken pull rope?

what parts do i need to fix a broken pull rope on my yardman 21" selfpropelled walkbehind lawn mower

step 1) Take Yellow top off
step 2) Remove 3 10mm bolts holding the spindle on top
step 3) Remove gold 10mm screw on bottom of spindle
step 4) remove old pull cord and reinstall new one
step 5) put parts back togethar in reverse order
