Mend Optima G3 Alarm System Idea

Intruder alarm system Optima G3 omit fault?

Any idea why this system should go into full alarm when a zone has been omitted (ie at night) but never when the system is on full alarm ( ie all zones active) It is loud at 3am..... Thanks

Thank you for taking the time to answer my question. I assume the alarm is not activating in full set because the strobe is not flashing to indicate an alarm has been triggered. I have tested the strobe on an alarm test and it is working.I have rechecked my part sets and they "seem" ok, even to the point of putting the zone which I suspect is triggering on a zone delay. It still only triggers when on omit, and it is not the zone that I omit that seems to be triggering. I suspected a tamper problem, but no tamper light is showing on the events log. Don't ya love enthusiastic amateurs?

How do you know it does not go into alarm when on full set?
Sounds like your part sets are not programmed correctly.
