Mend Gas British Turned

I have neataheat 16-22 gas service say it is unrepairable?

My 16-22 has just had an annual inspection, the British gas Service guy has turned it off saying it is leaking Carbon Monoxide from the Back Plate and cannot be repaired. Is this True???. Is there a part to repair this ??

If its leaking CO then it is beyond repair..Those netaheats all seem to rust on the back chassis. Because that boiler uses the fan to suck in the air for combustion this pressurises the outer case, so any CO will be forced out the case through any rusty holes into the room (positive pressure boilers). I would agree with the engineer on this one. Hope this helps
