Zanussi Electrolux Essential 1200?

I have this washer/dryer - it's about 2-3 years old. Has recently developed a fault. Started as not returning display to zero when finishing the cycle, now not completing the cycle. Last weekend, we had a problem and so we emptied the filter (is that the little door at the bottom?), and we got it going again. Had a problem again today, tried the same, but can not now get it to work. Is it a blockage or the pump? Time to get a new one? Thanks.

The machine works fine except that it doesnt put softener into machine as it used to - its still there at the end of the cycle

could be something jammed in the pump impellor or indeed a faulty pump.you need to check for blockages in the hoses etc
