Mend Renault Trafic Light Help Drive

glow plug light comes on after a few miles on my 52 renault trafic?

please could some one help with my renault trafic,
when i first start it up and drive of it drives ok untill i put my foot down and when i do this it cuts out. but after a couple of miles the glow plug comes on and then it drives fine. please could some one help
