how can i reset tricity bendix aw1002 after pump unblocked?

when any item gets caught in the pump and i clear it the machine will not restart. it just makes a whining sound? How do i reset?

there is no reset needed for a blocked pump.Remove the blockage and then switch rotary switch to off position.should then restart normally.If it doesn't there is something else wrong
