medion Model No. mim2060 notebook pc?

hi my medion of the above model, keeps going back to the screen which states whether you want to start normal, in safe mode, etc. no matter which one i click on it keeps going back to this page. i have been informed that the hard drive or operating system has crashed, and if i want to save the information is to get another laptop who's compatability will accept the hard drive, and fix it from that lap top. my question is, can this work and if so what computer/lap top is compatible with the medion. thanks.
