Renault Scenic wiper problem?

hi, i know that the fault with wipers may have been fixed by now, but thought i would leave an answer for others who have the same fault and are looking for the answer.
it is not the wiper blades that are at fault but one of the bearings at the bottom of the arm it self. to replace the arm Renault will charge approx +£50 for a new arm and all you have to replace is the two bearings at the bottom of the arm, the bearings are ABEC 5. you can find them at most skateboard shops for couple of pound or search on ebay, just enter the name of the bearings and search.
they are very easy to replace basic mechanical skill needed.

check the actual wiper arm spring is ok and your blade rubber isnt damaged
