Nissan Micra Electrical Problem ?

I also have the same problem....

After snapping my ignition key, I lost my temper with the car and made a bit of a mess of the electrics around the steering column, while trying to snap the steering lock. :(

I've now replaced both indicator and windscreen wiper stalks, connected the plugs back how they were, but I can't get any thing on the rear clusters apart from indicator and hazards. Also, the dash lights wont come on, neither the interior light.

I've checked all the fuses in the car, replacing one that bit the bullet.

It's a 1990 model.

Any help would be appreciated.

just bought micra 1.2 s 2003 model, had new battery in, the all of a sudden stopped working some warning lights come on dash board but now it wont start

I smelt burning and then my radio and fan in the car stopped working for a few hours and came back again. Seems that all brake lights blew at the same time (I have had the bulbs replaced and the lights seemed to work) but sounds weird they all blew at the same time? Seems that the original problem has not been fixed?

Anyone know what I should ask at the garage and any recommendations about where to take a Nissan Micra inspiration (approx 10 years old) in South West London?

I am female and don't want to be ripped off! As I really cannot afford to lose money now.

It sounds like its been brokenised. I suggest replacing the battery as its where all the electrical power comes from and there may not be enough to go to the non-vital components if the battery is weak.
