how can i stop my tyre well filling with water on a renault laguna II?

Hi, there is a rubber pipe that sits inside the tailgate beside the lock that drains the water away. This has obviously been disconnected at some point and the water has poured into your lock and caused corrosion, then drained straight into your tyre well. Same thing happened to me. Just as simple as a little pipe not in place.

I had the same problem check the drain from the bottom of the window, when you open the window you will see a hole dead centre in the lower cill, It runs through the door and out of the right hand side, mine was blocked and the well fills and overflows into the door the water then tracks through the door lock catch into the wheel well. Took mine off blasted it through with water not had the proplem since.
