how to adjust wiper blades after installing a new motor?

I replaced my wiper motor, it works fine. My problem is when I turn the wipers off the wipers end up at the top of their arch not at the bottom. How do I adjust the wipers. this is for a 1997 nissan altima.

I just fixed mine , I had to unfasten rod connected to wiper motor. the part that joined the connecting rod to motor was in wrong position. I removed one lone screw .wiggled this piece off wiper motor, and turned wiper motor by hand to the right position my blades were trying to go down from start position and not up.so I turned motor to the opposite position 180 degrees. blades started and stopped in right position

if you removed crank from motor you will have to fit it when the wiper motor is in park position with blades at correct parked position on screen ,(i take it you have not loosened wiper blades from spindles,) if you have you will have to remove them from spindles fit crank in correct parked position then re-fit arms in parked position-""make sure ignition is fully off when working on wiper system they are very powerful and will not stop if you get your fingers or hands in mechanism be warned!"" if you get it wrong wipers may wipe bonnet.
