Mend Peugeot V-Clic Carb Throttle

idle adjustment peugeot v clic?

do you adjust the idle via the throttle cable at the carb end or is there a spacific idle screw on the carb, im only asking because the idle speed seams to fluctuate . carb diaphram ok , valve clearances ok, does not seam to have any air leaks
any help appreciated

the tickover screw is on the carb it butts up against the cables guide wheel(gold colour)basically screwing it inwards make the tickover go up and out down.remember this bike is chinese not french so a fluctuating tickover speed is not uncommon its due to the weakness of the fuel air mixture and a slight increase in pilot jet size will settle the problem out.its the same bike as a baotian bt50qt/and starway bt50qt but has nicer lamp lenses on it and cost a fair few quid more.
