when we turn on the hot water the green light comes on then after about 30-40 seconds just turns off and goes to red so we are running up and down stairs to make sure we are not running cold water
if you boiler works on heating then is the hot water flow switch faulty same I'll replace the hot water thermistos as well . good luck, remember only a gas safe register engineers can do this work.

When was the last time you had it fully serviced it could be many things diaphragm thermistor needing serviced air pressure switch my advice get gas engineer .
