Mend Volvo S40 Turn 2001 Off

How can I turn my Volvo S40 (2001) 2L fan off?

The fan comes on as soon as I start the car and won't go off. The temperature gauge reads normal. I have checked the relays and they are fine.

Thanks Nigel but tried that.
Disconnected the switch and it still comes on.

Probably the temp sensor not sure where it is in this car- often in the radiator at bottom
