yeah..this is a tricky one..foxed me for a while. You need to remove the black top cover of the base. Push down the power button and unclip the cover with a flat blade screw driver. Repeat for the other red button on other side. Hinge cover forward and unclip from the front. remove the bearing cover plates and you can now remove the plastic motor housing cover. Voila..you are inside!

I can't get it apart either. I've took out every screw I can see and still can't get into the motor area.
