The problem is caused usually by an air lock between the water reservoir and the pump.
1. Overfill the water tank to just over max.
2. Do not replace cap or filter on water tank.
3. With Water tank fitted in place. The base unit for the iron on the ironing board.
4. Keep the iron Lower than the height of the ironing board
5. Operate the pump and steam button from the iron until there is a marked change of sound from the pump motor. (It goes quieter ) The pump can be locked on at the button.
6. Steam should now be produced at the iron.
7. Replace Screw cap and filter in water tank. You have now bled and primed the pump.
8. Iron should be OK until it airlocks again
