Mend Hoover Quattro System 1400 Open Door Cycle Three

How can I open the door of a Hoover Quattro System 1400?

It seems to have finished its cycle. Anyway, we have now repated it three times. Tried unplugging then reconnecting. Still seems some water inside. Don't know how to evacuate it. Help!!

put the waste pipe into a bowl on the floor to drain out the remaining water then check the pump for blockages. unplug it first
