My machine has just started to bang and shake on the spin cycle, its not just with on load, it is also doing it even when empty of clothes. Front and rear springs on the weight inside are intact, but is it meant to have a left and right spring.
where would the machine go when it left the house? jersey is only small it would have go into the sea.

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately had the machine (Hotpoint WM52) for over ten yrs, changed the bushes many times. It has been such a good machine. While your reply is not the answer I must admit when I first got it I did forget that. It has only just started doing this as if the clothes load is off balance when it starts spinning, but as I mentioned it does do it if I run it empty as well. Thanks.

if this a new machine have the transit bolts been removed? stupid i know but i experienced this as our new machine tried to leave the house of its own accord
