Mend Cut Outside House

I cut our AC wire outside the house?

I was trimming the yard and decided to get the pesky weeds behind our AC unit, somehow I cute the wire, possibly a ground wire? It's a smaller one beside the bigger wires and its brown....anyway...before my hubby gets home I am trying to fix it, help pleassssse!! I have tried fixing it by putting the wires back together and electrically taping it but it hasnt worked yet...ugh...

i would think that your husband would understand.and if he dont than hes got problems.its better to get someone who knows how to fix this problem.you could accidentally damage the a/c unit.accidents happen.you did not do this on purpose.and i think that a good husband would be happy that his wife is honest with him.call someone that knows what they are doing.
