number plate lights?

i have got a mitsubishi shogun warrior sport and can not get the rear number plate lights to work, i have changed the bulbs but still have no luck and all fuses seem to be ok

probably wires broken going into back door due to them flexing over thr years. pull back wiring casing and check.
