Mend DSC PC1564 Reset Alarm Removed

How do I reset my alarm, it says Lid Tamper Call Installer?

Hi, First time on this site!! I removed the lid to my alarms main box and now it says Lid Tampaer - Active - Next and then says Call Installer. The spaner light is also lit up. I don't really want to call the installer as he will prob charge me a packet for something that just needs a reset.

Sadly, it appears your system is set for engineer reset for tamper faults.
If you get an engineer out (and I think you'll have no option) then ask them to set it for "user reset"

Get the system fully serviced at the same time. It will be money well spent.
