Anti Code or master reset or how to disconect???

Hi Just been at my mums new house, has a veritas alarm, that has gone off, we have the pin code but not the anti code and we do not know who fit the alarm to contact them for this code, is the anti code stored with a main body ie the manufacturer.. I have removed the fuse in the spur switch the power of at the mains fuse board, but the dam alarm still goes off.. how do I disconect the whole system please or is there a way to do a master reset?? due to the sesitive nature of this question I leave my email address so you can contact me directly or telephone 01132524295.. I am worried about calling a firm out as it is 3 oclock in the morning and a bank holiday.. Can anyone please help.. Regards Chris

At least we know he has two LED rkp`s, bet its a texecom r8,and guaranteed it will not accept any defaults, the anti code request gave that one away.

thanks for your answer No Name, got it to stop , at approx 3.30am, but it started for no apparent reason again at 9am so switched off at mains again pressed buttons all sorts, it has stopped agian, BUT.... for how long we dont know.. I had already seen the battery in the control box and tried unplugging and replugging, and included that again in the last process.. outside now there appears to be no lights on the box at all.. the control box inside has the green solid light lit, and the key pads 2 of them both show a red tamper light and a green light above.. I am going to try source a new battery on tuesday, dont know if that is the problem, but it is very old 2002 so a new one wont go a miss... are you an alarm man??? regards chris

The system is still running on battery backup, there's a battery within the panel and the outside sounder.
Now you have isolated the mains you can remove the panels cover and disconnect the battery.
The outside sounder will run until the battery drains,by the time you read this the alarm has most likely silenced anyway. That's the easy bit out of the way.

sorry I am going to pass on answering the rest of your question regarding recommissioning, maybe one of the guys can offer better advice.
