my hotpoint fdw60 doesnt work?

hi ike for some of you my hotpoint fdw60 stop in the middle of cycle and the fast and delicate lights start to flash,i dont thing it is the heating element because the water and the dishes are warm.i have tried to start it again and unlike the previous times it did drain itself instead of having lots of water left at the bottom.whoever has an aswer for this behaviour please help.thanks
