could it be just the battery?

i cant start my rover the red light wont even flash could it be just the battery that has gone on my immobilser

Do you mean red light on the dash? if so id try connecting jump leads then you should at least get light on the dashboard if they do just give your batt a charge and maybe check your alternaters working ok.
