Mend Renault Megane Scenic Starting Problem Engine

my renault megane grande scenic 2005 wont start?

Just went to start the car and it wont start. Thought it could be a flat battery but had a jump start and the lights are all working and the clock is right the engine will not turn over and is making no sound whatsoever. Car was running perfectly befire today . Oh just remembeted the heating dial wouldn't work on 4 yesterday.

Hi , what was the problem in the end. I have Exactly the same thing is happening to my 2004 auto scenic. The dash lights just flicker and clicks but the car will not start.I am trying to investigate ,I presume it's just a coincidence and a common fault but the heater also had previously not been working on 4 either.

If the starter isnt even clicking then it could be body to engine earth cable, or wire going to starter. Also check connections at battery posts make sure they are tight.
