Electolux EOB6636X Single Oven?

Hi
Help required.
I have an Electrolux EOB6636X single oven, last week the round heating element that goes around the internal fan blow in a big way!
Replaced the element with a new one but now have a problem with no internal light, no fans run and it will not heat up. The clock works and sets fine and the timer/buzzer works. Checked the thermostat and that works perfect. No apparent damage to the operation selector control, all contact and wiring seem fine. Thermal overload unit, a small bye-metal strip on the outside of the oven held in place with 2 screws is normally closed seems fine. It really only leaves the Oven Clock / Timer Assembly, but before I order one anybody have any ideas?

Hi CK
Your info put me on the right track with your info.
The 2 spade terminals you mentioned on the relay aren't actually joined together to bypass the relay as you said, but the relay terminal out wire is fed with 240v from the timer/clock unit. It now works perfect including clock display and buzzer timer, except for the clock auto timed on / off function which we never use anyway.
Thanks for the info
Dave

Hi again CK
There are 2 rectangular units one at top right, one at bottom left, could you tell me which one it is?

Hi CK
Thanks for that info, it is much appreciated, I will try it first thing in the morning.

Thanks again

the clock has a relay (rectangular block)on it and 2 spade connectors attached to it and if you connect these together it bypasses the relay thus confirming the clock is faulty
