how can i fix my hotpoint wt940 washing machine ?

check the filter is not blocked ,clean it
check the drain pump is not blocked, clean it
need to get rid of excess water first by putting drain hose into a empty bowl ,lower to the ground if water flows slowly (dribbles) filter more than likely blocked when water finally stops check the 2 things above use old towels for the remaining water spillage
