If it's the same model/date as mine you'll find 6 screws on the base of the toaster (four of which also hold on the feet). Remove these and then the base plate (get all toast crumbs out using crumb tray and remove tray first). Then take off the knob from the front of the toaster - the knob just pulls straight off revealing two screws that release the timer switch. From below the toaster take a careful note of how the electrical spade connectors fit on the switch and pull those off. Timer should come straight out. Reverse procedure to install new switch! (I am looking for broken switches for a project if you still have your old one, I'd be grateful of it.)
