what is wrong with my electrolux ewx14440w?

ugggh...I spoke too soon. After only 2 washes the old problem is back. It just clicks and goes back to stop again

I had to get an engineer out as my machine was doing exactly the same. It had done less than 30 washes when this problem occured. He replaced the pump and then noticed the Motor was overheating.. a new motor had to be fitted and it seems to be working now. I am angry to have had such problems with such a virtually new machine.

the machine does not finish the wash

Hi there, My machine is doing exactly the same thing. It starts normally and runs(washes) as expected and then randomly will unclick the door as if the cycle has finished. Sometimes it runs for an hour or more into the cycle - other times just a few minutes.

It seems to be quite random with how long it will run for. Sometimes it stops before the spin cycle, other times just after I have started a wash. It fills with water and spins a few times - then clicks off to show it is finished. The door is unlocked and the PLAY/Start button is just flashing, although it does not signal with the usual beeps to signify it is finished.

Any ideas?

i am having the same problem , machine starts for a few mins then stops, the door unlocks . sometimes the cicle will last 2 mins sometimes half an hr , its as if the washing is finished but it hasnt help !!!!!!!!!!!

You do not actually say what the machine is not doing properly i.e. What is wrong with your machine?
