Can anybody shed some light on the cause or fix for this error code/problem?

I have a Hitachi 9kg, top loader washing machine (model SFP90CJ). I have had it for 3 years and never had a problem with it, however today it startd to malfunction. It doesn't appear to complete the spin cyclr properly. After checking all the other normal issues that may cause it (such as unlevel machine) it still cames up with and error code 'F9'. this mcode is not in any of the manual from, Hitachi and I cannot find it online.

Can anybody shed some light on the cause or fix for this error code/problem? All suggrstions appreciated.
