How do I stop my hitachi PAF820P from flowing over?

My machine won't stop filling up regardles of what setting I put it for the water level, what is causing this?

you did not say if that only happen when machine is switched on. if it happens all the time its probably dirt in inlet valve solenoid,you can open and clean. if problem only when power on,locate water level switch(round plastic unit with plastic pipe and 2 or 3 wires) and replace
