how to fix my astra van 1.7 1998?

i had a slight front shunt with a post the van drove me home fine with no problems and the next morining started and drove to work but after that it wont start it will turn over fine but has no signs of fireing i was wourdering if it was a fuel cut off switch but can"t find out any information on it
