tension on toyota?

iv not used a sewing machine for alot of years
could you please help the cotton is gathering underneath garment it is a toyota 2260

Make sure you have the top tension about 4 or 5, make sure you have a perfect needle in, make sure you can only just pull the bottom thread through with slight resistence.
