Mend Sharp XE-A102 Buttons Screen Working

why cant i open my cash register with the buttons?

the screen is displaying 0.00 but none of the keys are working the only way i can open it is with the button on the underneath. the cash register is a sharp xe-a102 ive tried to initialize again but to no avail

press the sub total button,whatever it displays,ie 2.50,press 2.50 and then press total button,this will then open the drawer.

yes mark i got 3 long beeps but there still not working

When you initialised it, did you get three long beeps from the machine?
