peugeot 306 diesel timing belt?

i have a timing belt but no tensioners, so is it ok to change the belt but not the tensioners

well it would still work if theres no play in or roughness, but as you have it all stripped down it makes sense to change tensioner and guide roller, and check/replace water pump if thats dodgy too. if your selling it dont bother just throw belt on.
