Changing the heater blower fan on a Peugot 306 turbo diesel?
How hard is it to change the heater blower fan on a Peugot 306 turbo diesel ? Is the blower in the car like the heater matrix or is it under the bonnet ? The fan has been make strange noises for quite a while and has now siezed and the window steam up in no time despite hot air slowly escaping.......It is like driving in fog permanently LOL
Thanks for that it must be next to the heater matrix then which explains why it started making strange noises after the heater matrix started leaking into the car..looks like the water leak ruined it

Have a look upwards of the passenger footwell. If like 205/405s it is held by 3 small screws which must be removed along with the wiring plug(s). It will lower out, BUT in the 306 Hayes manual (1993-99) it says ' to assist access remove the glovebox'.

hi i think its behind the glove compartment theres a black block with a resister or something like that, that blows about 17 quid
