my 1999 T reg kangoo overheats but when i turn the heating to high and blowers on full the temp drops could this be the thermostat stuck closed, plus where is it on the veh so i can check plus theres a little steam comes from the rad when it gets to hot, any idea many thanks
the gauge on my control panel does not move heater just blowing cold air heater

been told that its the waterpump thats at fault common fault with that year

tried all the above refilled put in new thermostat still overheating also noticed the radiator is not getting hot and the fan is not coming on .......help

it sounds to me that it isnt the thermostat its a blockage in the radiator what u need to do is either... take off the bottom hose and let all the water run out blow air in the radiator and then refill then refill with anti freeze and water and bleed the system or when it is running take the top hose and keep squeezeing ituntill blockage goes . The thermostat is at the end of the top hose in a thermostat housing
