Aprilia SR50 ditech won't start?

Check the air compresser is pumping correctly and the 2 wires to the injector haven't snapped inside the plastic coating

Hi, LUCA. I have just had the same thing happen to me. I hit a deep pot hole and the next day, I noticed my bike had trouble starting and now it pumps gas and turn's over
but will not start. What did you have to do to fix this problem???? Someone please help!!

a ditech doesnt have a carb so if your looking for one youll be there a long time :)

hello can any1 help i gt a sr and you have to electric strat it for ages then you will hear a serten sound then it will go to tik over and then start and somtimes wont start. when it does it will go as long as i keep reving it will be ok then cut out at full throttol an my injection cheak light will flash can any1 help

hi. my aprilia sr50 ditech 2002 keeps overheatin once engine runnin it goes to max in few mins? and also the spark plug looks like it is burnin or gettin sut stuff on it?

my sr 50 ditec wont start 1 of the injection o rings has blown iv replaced it and got new spark its trying to start it starts for about 5 sec then stops there is fuel goin through can eny one help me

it could be the rollers in the variator... they could of came out of there position it simply could mean that you have to take out the variator and re-position them.

ello it could the ecu i was told by a bike breakers if the ecu is banged ie you hit a pot hole they break so i bort 1 off ebay but mine is still not working you can give me a call and i can lend you my ecu if you want and see if it is that it will save you buying 1 if you are un sure of the problem my number is 07547701198

iv managed to get the bike to start. still not working properly. the bike is hard to start. cuts out and has no power. the fuel pump is leaking a bit and the fuel pipe from the pump to the injector is starting to break by the looks of it. so i'll change the pipe first then if still no luck i'll change the pump. iv checked those bolts and they are still okay.

ok there suffer froma few things the fule pipes froms the fuel pump under the left hand side panel perish and leak and the loss of fuel pressure causes it to not run,the bolts that actaully hold the fuel injector in the head break whcih also makes al oss of fuel pressure.check these two things out and change any perished hose with new high pressure fuel lines.is there any fuel leakage when you try to start it ?i would aslo check the ht lead has not fallen off the spark plug as a bump in the road can easily do this.

Already have, still no reply. im going to take check the carb filter tomorow, check if petrol is getting through the carb and if there is any dirt. iv checked the underside but there are no marks to prove that the bike actually hit the ground. iv checked the exhaust and that has not been hit either. the bike is de-restricted so i was doing 40mph when i hit the hole. iv also checked all the wiring connections and they are all properly attached

write to council straight away. Get a piccy of pothole if you can. and then write to them.

I would start by checking all connections to carb. and check if petrol getting to carb ok? has something worked lose? was the inpact on the engine? where did it hit?
