Tank light says full when empty?

Hi, the tunble dryer (Tricity Bendix TM 310W)wont start because the full tank light shows full when its empty. Any suggestion would be great!

there is a float switch inside and if the water can not get from there to the tank it keeps the light on and says tank full when actually empty.looking from the fromt you need to remove the left side panel and at the back bottom corner will be the float and chamber.if it has a pump fitted on this model it could be that that is fault!
