Mend Hotpoint Aquarius Water Tank Light

dryer insists water tank needs emptying ?

hotpoint aquarius condenser dryer wont heat up because the little light that says the water tank needs emptying wont go out even when tank is empty an filters cleaned,both pipes are firmly attached and secure on back of machine so I know its not that any Idea's

there is a tank and float inside the dryer.it may well be blocked with fluff.find it and clean it out.if it is a pumped version check the pump works whilst you're inside there
