G4 TAMPER FAULT LOCKOUT ?

can you tell us what bell box you have and is it a new one or an old one you are using and what lights are on the panel ie day light, power light, and tamper, attack ,what lights are on and off cheers baz26

Thank you baz26 it has done the job very grateful you could not tell me why my siren is not sounding it does a few rings and that's it i have checked the wiring and it is all in proper? i took the front of the bell house off and the tamper switch set the alarm off it worked proper i put it back on now it is not? (help)

you have got a tamper fault so i sugest you take the cover off the control panel and press the spring in on the panel cover and get somone to hold it in or put a small screw driver in the spring to keep the switch closed and then get a couple of links ready and press reset on the key pad now make sure that the tamper spring is keeping the switch closed and put a link wire in the contacts on the tamp on the keypad conector in the control panel if this is the fault the panel should bleep and tamper light go out if not then put another link in the T and A on the bell box wireing leaving the origanal wires in and see if that resets the tamper their is also a tamper link next to the P A make sure that their is a link in that as well all the time making sure that the tamper spring on the control panel cover is pressed in with these 4 tamper links in the panel should be ok if it works then you can take each one out at a time to see witch one is at fault and fix it their is a spring on the keypad that is very sensetive gust expand the spring a bit should fix it
