just done the hot air dryer trick and its worked a treat and fingers crossed it stays ok, just persist with the dryer as it takes a while for the hot air to take affect

You can disconnect the clock. Remove the pot stands then remove the top of the cooker left hand side on the 90 dual classic allows access to the clock six screws, Disconnect the blue wire (again blue on the 90) Clock is disabled but all another functions work. You just cant use the time cooking function etc. Took me 20 mins & I am no expert. Hope this helps.

turn it off at the mains and turn it on again - same as for a pc - yay

had same problem with my 110---tried the suggested remedy of pushing start/stop together then reset byt no joy. Thinking that the buttons may have stuck with grease or gunge ipulled off all clock buttons and blew hot air from a hair drier into the holes which started the clock flashing, but then pressed reset and ovens both lit!! Problem only sorted temporarily, but cheaper than £70 for new clock & £120 per half hour
