Mend BMW E36 320 Noise Front Left

brake noise on BMW 320 ?

I have a knocking noise from the front left under braking on my BMW e36 320 . Any ideas ?

It could be the wishbone bushes needing replaced. Should only cost £100. Does the steering shake when you brake? if it does then thats what it is. Hope this helps
