Mend Peugeot 1.4D Battery Light Time

My battery light comes on when i press my brake pedal?

I have a peugeot 1.4d

When i drive my car the battery light comes on every time i apply the brake pedal.
when i try to use my front window screen wipers the light comes on too and they dont work, neither can i spray water on my window screen, yet my rear wiper works fine.

I have no idea what the problem is, hope you can help
