How do I remove the petrol from the tank?

If you dont fancy getting a gob full of petrol ! (respect to you Gary).... You could get an old fuel injection pump from a scrappy Type not important....locate the fuel feed pipe to the engine, under bonett...then rig up a live and earth to the remote pump, find suitable fuel pipe and run outlet of pump to a large container, inlet from the car's feed to engine.
If all your conections are right..... fuel will rapidly fill the container. The method also works for diesels that some have put the wrong fuel in !

try syphoning it out. get a piece of hosepipe about 3 foot long and a container. put the container on the floor, stick hosepipe in the tank n suck till the petrol flows.let it flow into the container.
