Mend CyberPower cps585avr Power Failed Battery

Does anyone have info about repairingCyber Power UPS?

My Cyber Power UPS model cps585avr has failed. It will no long do battery back-up even though the 12V gel cell is good.
Customer service tell me that the circuit board is bad. To just buy a new unit. Pat --pjsull@yahoo.com

If its under warranty then it should be the manufactors responsibility. If its not under warranty I would be careful to attempt to open it and repair any connections since your play with high powered electricity.
