Mend Hoover New Wave plus 5 Error Code Drain Hose Pump

Hoover New Wave plus 5 - Error message E1 ?

After wash cycle machine machine shows E1 code, the door will not open. Checked & cleaned all drain hoses & pump. Is their a filter or pressure switch blocked ?

When you take the top off the machine, inside on the right is a round unit with a clear plastic pipe. Follow this to the 'T' joint and then down to the bottle situated at the bottom of the machine. This can be remove from underneath by propping machine backwards. It is probably all guncked up clean it and the pipe and it should open the door again...well it worked on mine!
