Bosch Classixx 1200 won't start?

Hi please help before my wife kills me!!
She used the washer the other day but complained that the spin was not drying as well as it should, I assumed it was all in her mind...
She went to do another load and it fails to start? I've taken the back and top off but can see nothing loose or broken, I've taken the small rubber hoses to pressure switches off and blown down them as suggested elseware on here no change, I've checked the filter and pump both clear and pump spins freely, what next short of calling a repair man?
when I switch it to anything, wash, spin drain etc all I get is a small humming sound and fast kind of ticking like a timer or something?

Anyone help please??
