Bosch Classix 1200 express not spinning?

Bosch Classixx 1200 Express washing machine is not spinning. When put on spin cycle there is a metallic sort of rattling sound coming from inside which then stops and the only sound is from the pump taking water away. The drum does not spin. Carbon brushes were replaced recently.
