My 8 year old Vokera Mynite 20e loses pressure every 2-3 days. Br. Gas say it is not the pressure relief valve and have added sealant 3 times to no effect. Next step is having all the floors up. No evidence of leak found yet from starting looking at the 'easiest' spots. Is there any other possible cause that should be investigated before more disruptive dismantling of the house is embarked on?
i too have inconsistant loss of pressure, i thought it might be the pressure vessel low on air, but could not find a value to pump it up to, i assume you pressurise it when the total system is empty of pressure, i will try this tonight, thanx

If its like our Vokera Mynute then it maybe the seal on the vent valve this releases the water through a wastepipe on the outerwall behind the boiler (hence no leaks evident inside), probably best way to prove it is to place a bucket under this pipe, BGas have been here 3 times last winter and once so far this winter to replace a seal, even now we still lose pressure.

Ah, but that is the problem - I have to top it up to about 1 bar every 2-3 days. The system has to be leaking somewhere, but no external evidence found so far.

VOKERA EXPANSION VESSEL May be the problem check it has enough presure you can normaly find it at the back of the boiler and has a tyre type nipple, the presure should be 1bar hope this is some help
